Welcome to the Dead is Sports, the Place of Sports, which means a lot with 13 years of experience and experience, bringing you the hottest takes and end up analysis. We're here to give you one hell of a show as we kick off the NFL season. Today we are deep diving into our predictions for the upcoming NFL season. Who will rise and who will fall?

Also, make sure you guys stick around to the end for our weekly picks where we break down the matchups you need to watch. And you can also pick along with us. My name is Kenneth B. And join me on the show.

We have, we have a pack through everybody here. We got Nick, we got Fipo, we got Q, we got Spike Luke and Shelton, what everybody? What's going on everybody? What's up?

Get excited people. It's that time of year, baby. Hey, man, look, I'm excited because everybody that bets, you know, say if you want to make some money, you know, you can follow me for the most part, Shelton. And if you don't want to, if you appreciate your money, don't want to lose it, don't listen to me.

Don't follow his pick. I was about to say, I got the stats. I got the stats from last year still. Okay.

So what are they? Well, we're not there yet. Yeah, we got a whole show people. It's a whole lot.

I'm bad. So let's not get stuck on too much here because we have a lot of time. Look at a bedtime boy. That is a fact.

Now I said she's a double. I'm here. I can extend it. Now you're here.

You're talking about basketball, getting out of here. You'll be having that groundhog to bedtime. All right, man. Let's jump into it.

We're going to kick things off with college football, Clemson and LSU both took losses last week. It was it was it was pretty rough. I don't even know if we even need to mention what happened to stay last night. But yeah, outside of them, because we know they had a rough outside of Clemson and LSU, which team have the words lost because they.

Unless you unless you were supposed to be USA, you're supposed to be a West Coast non physical football team. Unless you was from the SEC, they supposed to go late to Smacknow. And I just they did a good do it. And I blame Brian Kelly.

You got to have that weekend, express conference talking about his fault and want to be on the table and stuff. Be better. He ain't ever good in opening games, even when he was back in the day. He was assistant, I didn't know why he was assistant, I didn't know why he watched those.

But none of his opening games have ever been good. So yeah, I would definitely say it. OK, show your might feel about the way he was talking with it. I thought you were saying something.

I didn't know my name. Keep him. Did you say that you did you say outside of them to or you said out of those two? Between the two.

Oh, between the two. Yes, it's definitely LSU. Clemson was not favorite going into that Georgia game. That although that's the best time to catch Georgia.

Well, you know what? You can honestly say close because of Davos legacy when he was trying to accomplish. You bring back an experienced quarterback. You had experience running back.

That was the best chance to not Georgia offers game of the season and to be blown out that way was just. So if you take what LSU did, at least they were in that game and it was, you know, they had a chance to win it. But Clemson was outclass from the beginning. So we're seeing the fall of Davos and all that talking, even doing all that.

That's urban, even doing this is coming back to vitamin A right now. You know, part of it, Shelton is the fact that, you know, he's not he's not. First of all, he said that, you know, when players are getting paid, he's going to be out. You're still here.

And when whatever you're in changes, right, you have to adapt and change with it and play the game. Or else you're going to get left behind and guess what? He's left behind because is he a good coach? I'll give him a good coach.

Is he an excellent coach? No, and only excellent coach can only do so much, but you're not going to be able to compete with everybody else. And he's power conferences that are getting transferred. He had zero transfers.

He's not playing the game. So guess what? You won't get blown out like you just did. And it's only going to get worse.

Like this season is going to be another law season if he doesn't start getting into that transfer point. Well, you know, it's too late to get there now. It's over with. And I'll say that this season.

I'm just at the end of the season like next year. Oh, next year. No transfer report and no in IODLs. Yeah.

Yeah. He's trying to break it in. It's insane. There's no way to compete in today's college football without two.

You just can't at this point. And, you know, even if the transfer portal is natural cup of tea, you're going to have to recruit heavy and you're going to have to make sure the boys get paid. Because they ain't coming no other way. And Clemson, the unfortunate thing for Clemson is they were set up to be in powerhouse for years to come.

There's no reason that Georgia should be leaps and bounds above them like they are. But here we are in this. Hey, chef, did you just did you just say that the only way them boys would come and say, take it. Yes.

And then I'm stealing, because when he came back and said again, that's a great. I was going to say this is a hard this is a Sophie's choice for me. Between these two goofballs. But I'm going to go with Brian Kelly just because he was the highly when he was a higher rate team.

He got into it. I didn't even notice LSU was 13. USC is 23rd. They two three spots out of being out of the top 25 and they're on the road.

So they're going they coming into Louisiana. You're supposed to be the more experienced team. You're the SEC team, like we said, and not only do you let them run all over the place. You let them end the game in a fashion.

I mean, it seemed like I just gave up to the point where the coach came into the press camera and said, we gave up. Basically what he said. But I think that's that's going to like if we look at why LSU is not in the playoffs. This is a game we're going back to early in the season to say like this was in Vegas.

He was in Vegas and it wasn't the other. Oh, come on back. I made it. Yeah.

They were the home team, but they were part of the first. I didn't understand it though, because they had all the momentum going in the first half. There was no reason for them not to win that game. They went away from Lacey in the second.

Lacey was going crazy in the beginning receiver. They completely went away from what was working. And I just don't know what that sound like. So what does that sound like exactly?

And that's the reason why I got a big LSU as well, because obviously they were ranked higher. They were dominating and then you fell apart. You know what I'm saying? And everything that you said, I don't think I agree with that.

And then he goes in the press conference and wants to act like he's angry. Bro, like that's not coaching. You know, what he said at first, oh, the sideline, this and that, it's like, you're shifting the blame. You should have went out there with a very calm demeanor.

Hey, you know what? I just have to be able to go. And I'm not saying that I still wouldn't have picked them if he would have handled it that way. But LSU should be a top five team based off the talent and your conference.

You know what I'm saying? The people that they're going to play, you started off with a really good first matchup of ranked team, not high. You're ranked enough. You know what I'm saying?

That if you win this game, people are not going to be on your side of the wheel. Like, oh, OK, unless you might be able to do something. Brian Kelly, it's bad. Dabo, the reason why I'm not picking Dabo is because structurally, we know that whatever Clemson is doing cannot compete today.

It just can't. So the loss is bad, but is it all Dabo's fault? He gets the majority of the pie, but it wasn't necessarily going to quote coaching. It's a talent thing.

LSU, that's that's that's the head coach all day. Yeah, the quarterback's on both sides. They look, they look, they look like they might have something with those two guys. And I think with Brian Kelly's play calling in the red zone that they had to settle for and feel going in a game and then he just walked down the field and and and took the lead.

I think that's where he lost the game. I don't know why you're calling those those plays. There's these motion plays trying to get this guy outside and hit him, you know, and on the move. But so that's where I feel like he lost a game in one area.

But for me, man, it's not on the list, but I got to bring up Florida State because Jesus Christ, man. Top 10, I mean, back to back losses to Boston College. They got manhandled after they got within the score. And I'll talk about two quarter best that look good.

DJ loves freaking awful. Uga Laylee, he looks down right horrendous, bro. And and and that that quarter that coach was like, he got he got some problems on his hand. But I think it highlights one thing, time is back to and then I'm losing that topic.

Time is back to Clemson is that, well, yeah, no, not Clemson, but um, LSU and USC is that at least those quarter best look capable of running the offense. DJ doesn't look capable of running the offense at all. Anybody got like seven years now, man. But I say, he got the Uga Laylee.

He got the Uga Laylee. Also too real quick, him. This is the show that can say this is too many white people on Clemson defense. That's that's the way too many white people on the defense.

That was that was a tweet from right away. Yeah, it's a lot of flack for what he was saying is the truth. That's a super chat to check it out. But yeah, I think you got nine white boys starting on defense.

I don't even know that shit. I don't see that hires. I'm going to say he got to make America great again secondary boy. That's what he has.

He's got another defense. Absolutely. No, man. Hey, look, and it showed and he's paying the price for it right now.

And that's why you can press the like, I get why you want us to skip it. That's the school. Yeah, it is. That's never got to step it up.

That will have to get into the 21st century or I'm going to go off. Yeah, that's not what you got. So is that supposed to be like a sneaky athletic defense? Is that what they call it?

Like a lot of coaching songs on it. Hey, hey, hey, so many cool, but just on that. So I mean, yeah, I was Lincoln Riley always finding elite QB. He's a link.

It was I don't know. Shaky, though. Here we go. He was that that's he was actually there backing up.

Got what the other way back was, but then he was back in a payment when he transferred out. So he's been a career backup, but you got some he got some slaying that thing. He's like playing ball. All right.

All right. So, you want to talk about since you want to talk about things being slanked or slung. Let's go to the Miami hurricane. Oh, man, Jesus Christ.

The Miami hurricanes won a lopsided game against Florida on the road 41 17. What's more likely to happen by being a top four seat in the playoffs or can war being a husband finalist. By the way, the only ranked team they were faced this season is Florida State, who is no longer ranked. Both both of those can happen.

Can more is going to win the Heisman Trophy. Cam looks amazing. He was looking amazing. They're watching the state.

So his transfer unlike DJs, which they both basically did the same thing. They went from from the back to the SEC. Well, they see CCC came out East Coast to try to, you know, build back up. Cam's is going to work.

And basically off the reason what you said, just now they're not facing any. They got a cupcake schedule. But even even in saying that, this Miami team came ready to play and they have all the confidence in the world and quarterback. They have all the confidence in the world and receivers and the coaches.

You're going to see a Miami team that's trying to brand you back this year. But Cam is going to definitely win the Heisman because I don't see him having any slip ups and mishaps. That Florida State defense ain't going to do nothing to him. He ain't scared of them at all.

And rightfully so. He saw what he did to Florida. He carved them up. It's going to be the same thing.

And that was on the road in front of the recruits. So it's going to be the same thing. It was an electronic improvement. Very disrespectful.

Like it was going to touch on a touchdown. Right. I'm going to do it to you. That's what they do when they do that.

They intimidate and disrespectful. I believe I think both of these things are going to happen. I think Cam Johnson will be a Heisman finalist. Can't work.

Excuse me. Can't work. He got this. He's going to make a name.

That's just a black hand. That's a black hand. Yeah, I'm Smith. Mr.

Basketballer. I think Cam will win or excuse me be a finalist for the Heisman. And there's no competition in the ACC. That's Boston College is going to be good.

Maybe they'll slip up when they play Clemson. If that boy got it together by the end, but yeah, they'll go top four because they'll win the division. The conference. What's the unit?

I'm away and see what came. I like how you came out. I can't stand Florida. Michigan and Florida is Michigan's number one floor is number two as far as my hate list.

Why Florida? Because back in the day when I was on house, they stopped them. Remember that one year they won the football and basketball. I was like, I hated them.

And I was a joke, you know, basketball team. I want to get the title. But yeah, I was happy to see I was happy to see Miami kind of come back and dominate like that. But I just don't know much about this kid.

And I haven't trusted this program since they had Ed Reeder know in the backfield. So I'm just still kind of waiting to see what Miami, but I mean, they look good. I think between the two, I would say them being a top four seat because I did look at this schedule and that shit is soft. Cotton Hill.

Yeah. Can I don't know about Ken Ward, man? I'm not saying that he's not talented. He should be a high fan of this.

But when I see what Travis Hunter is doing on both sides of the ball, like it's hard to say that he's not going to be the Heisman favorite, you know what I'm saying? Because he's hard to do the best Y receiver in the nation. And the best B.B. In the nation.

I ain't going that far. I ain't going that far. He can win. He can win.

Because as long as he plays two positions, he can get it. That's right. No, no. No, that was a pause by the way.

Did you see that? Y'all are. Hey, that catch was amazing. And he's an amazing player.

If you fall with Colorado won't win like five games. They'll make an exception. They'll make an exception. Thank you.

I don't see it. But I like we need to have my end will potentially go undefeated. I'm not saying Cameron will win, but he will be a finalist. Hunter may be a finalist, but he won't win it.

I care team. He won't win it. Unless they win like eight games. It's going to be hard.

You're talking about not winning games, but then on the other hand, we have strength of central and that can go against you the same. That's that is kind of what that does. That's not going to be a whole game. It's not going to be a whole game.

They're not going here. As long as you put numbers. But but but Travis, how is going to put up numbers on both sides of the field? Yeah, he's the problem with that, though.

He's is is him staying healthy because you're playing every snap. That's my fear is that they're going to run him in the ground. He's playing every snap, offense and defense. That's torture on the body.

And when you're playing that schedule, you know, you got people that are going to target him. So he can just as easily be taken out of a game by that pressure that's going to be on should do it and the pressure that's going to be on him to stay healthy. So in saying that he should, you know, he's going to be a finalist if he can stay healthy long enough. But at the same time, it's going to be tough to replicate duplicate that performance that we saw Saturday, whereas with Cam, it's going to be easy for him.

Three touchdowns a week is easy. He was doing that and watching the state. Same thing. So it's all he has to do is repeat the performance because he's not a big mistake.

Louis says that Miami isn't legit and Louisville will beat them. I just haven't seen a good Miami team in a long as time. What was the Mark Jackson's strength of schedule when he won a Heisman? They was in the big East, I think.

I mean, who do they play? They were an ACC. They were an ACC. They played the shot at you.

Yeah, I think I do. That was that battle. Yeah, they play that Clemson game of stuff. Yeah, he had a I mean, he played some people the year he won the Heisman because ACC was a lot better than it is now.

That's what I was thinking. Like, whatever conference he was, it was way better than what it is now. He was a dog. He was a dog.

I don't remember. He's not the same. I don't remember. Louisville having like a gauntlet schedule.

He's just kind of one off of the ground. Right. Yeah. Yeah, like it's only going to depend on the numbers for Tammy.

Don't matter who he's playing. That only matters when they're picking the teams five to 12 for the playoffs. As long as Miami wins games, like he's going to win the hospital. Well, who do you think is going to be a sleeper for the award?

Because it seems kind of wide open to me. Oh, that's a really good question. Who you got for a sleeper show? What has him?

Oh, shoot. Somebody will even know. That's a good one. Oh, okay.

Thanks a lot. You know, I think the sleep. I don't know if this is necessarily a sleeper, but we probably like the quarterback from Georgia, which is like Beck last night. Carson, Carson, Carson, Carson, Carson.

He's not he may not be good, but he's a great white height. So I think he'll be a finalist. I think he'll be a finalist. I would say the corner for Georgia number 24.

I say he had a good one. I guess. Yeah, he got nice. Yeah.

Oh, I think about how. Tati or McMillan from Arizona. I was just about to say to office. I got one.

You know, I received him from USC with the one hand grab. No, you know why not him cute? And let me tell you something about him that I like he tried to. By the way, he made some wild catches.

But if you notice, go back and look at that game if you can't watch his highlights. In particular, the easy catches. He kind of made weird. Like it was like, man, it's a dude.

I have good hands with no because it was it was weird watching him play, but he's not going. He's not even a top receiver. Um, so I don't think he comes close to winning the house. He made those guys.

Like I said, you know, the Arizona team, the Arizona quarterback, I can't remember his name. You can look at him because he's going to put up some monster stats. That dude's going to throw for a million yards. I mean, easy.

This dude is going to throw it all out of the field. Easy 400, 500 yards game like she's doing and he's going to get the touchdowns. His receiver McMillan, um, with over 300 yards receiving in the first game, he's going to get he's going to be over 100 every week. So his numbers are going to look crazy at the end of the year.

So people like that are going to get votes because their numbers are going to be two, two guys that pass up on, you know, watch out for players like that. That's who I look at both of them. What are you going to say Nick? And then we go to next segment.

I was going to say one thing. Uh, the Y received from USC, even though I didn't, uh, I think they hyped up the catch. He tough though when he took that helmet to helmet and he still like, uh, to finish off that play, basically kind of the seal to deal for the win. Um, he showed his toughness right there and secondly, uh, shall not try to just, uh, drop Shadora's name in this time.

I'm like, he's going to keep going. He's going to be, he's going to see what he do this week. Yeah. He all watch Colorado is all watch.

You're only one that's worried about the watch. He's going to be. I'm John Snow. I'm John Snow.

He's going to do a Sanders and some watch. I'm talking about, I'm picking a draft. No, no, no, no, he's not. He's going to be the first quarterback.

He'll probably be the second. They're going, they're going to do his take Carson bit. Lou, and it ain't got nothing. That's not going to happen.

You know, that's not going to happen. You know, y'all go down this path. Yeah. I'm actually real old damn show.

So I'm telling you, who is going to be the first quarter back. Okay. Cool. Uh, San Francisco 49ers, the Niners and Brandon, I, you agreed to a four year contract extension worth $120 million.

Sorry, Q. Uh, why do we waste so much time talking about contract disputes with our receivers when they always get paid in the end? So I will say this, I will say this. I agree with the point, Ken, a couple of shows ago.

Um, I don't know if how soon it's going to happen. I don't know how it's going to happen, but they're not going to keep putting up with this, like just paying people to pay people shit. It's just, it's not going to keep happening. Like they're going for either.

There's going to be some retrospect where they're like, why do we keep doing that? Or there's going to be some recompense now where I don't think that they're going to keep looking at this excuse of all the other markets is we got to think we are the markets. What the fuck we talking about? But you know what I mean?

And I think that the 49ers, they had to pay them because they have to cover up rock parties deficiencies. But, um, I mean, congratulations on you. That's a good deal. I have no idea how they're going to pay for Trent Williams and everyone else.

They did today. We have to wait for them. They didn't release the number though, right? They just say he's number is up.

There's no number. Well, why you look at that up? I'll say this. I'm so happy.

Q, you said that shit because I'm of two minds. One, I like saying, players get paid. They money. I'm in a situation right now as a bingles fan where Jamar, you know, I'm saying, it seems like the nigga asking for the bread.

Um, he deserves it. He's, he's outworked his contract easily. Talk to the receiving the lead. However, I'm on the other side with that.

Like, nigga, it's too early. You don't ask for the wedding before the second date. You know, say like, let's say we got to get to that. You got one whole year left.

We can move some money around, but you got, you know what? Because everybody who got just got paid, bro. They was in year four. None of them.

But here's the thing, right? And Q, you talk about the market, understand that in football and a professional sports, whether you like it or not, it goes up because they make more money. Therefore, Sally, you catch the up. Therefore, players, salaries go up, right?

It's just the mathematics of professional sports. The faster and earlier, you pay a die in the long term. It's cheaper. It'll be in the bingles best interest to pay Jamal.

I understand that the owner doesn't like doing that. He made the concession to do it for your boy, you know, because he's a quarterback. He wanted to make look, if you don't want to do it for Jamar and you have your principalities, okay, cool, you to own it. You do what you want to do.

But kicking that can down the road is a more expensive can tomorrow than it is today. I'll say this for one, not all owners are created equal. Mike Brown is one of the, this is his money maker. You know what I'm saying?

Some of these other owners, they got other bread from other things. Like they sold the rice to the stadium that he was against for decades, just so they can have enough money to pay your world. And I think they broke that. They're usual.

We can wait till your fourth year deal because it's like, I'd rather pay this nigga now because I know that number ain't going down quarterback numbers. Just keep going up. So it's smart on that. But with Jamar, it's just like, bro, like you're you're early.

We can start, we can start negotiations this season, but you ain't getting paid until next season. And then like you said, before the caps going up, so that gives them more money to pay him, whatever it is, but he needs to reach out to him. But if you wait a year, he's going to get over Jefferson. And that's the issue.

Look, if you look at in terms of like salary cap and contracts and structure, I think the organization that's doing it the best, being able to retain their own guys that they drive the Philadelphia Eagles, every person that they have, they signed a year early. And because you signed them a year early, they're like maybe five to seven million under the market. But that's a specific situation. It's not that they didn't have to pay her.

You didn't have to pay her. It's on the timeline that they had to pay burrow. But they, but they pay, but they pay her. They pay her.

They pay AJ Brown. They read up the Vontay early. They had enough money to go get same. One.

So at the end of the day, the only point that I'm trying to make to you is you know, as an owner, a GM, who your core guys are, everybody's not a core guy. But there's always on a starting football team. There's 22 guys that start, right? There's going to be seven to 11 guys that's going to be your core on both sides of the ball.

You just told them that's going to be the court. They're not going nowhere. But this is what constitutes us. You got to pay those guys.

I'm not disagreeing with that before you go. I'm not disagreeing with you to the SFE for all I'm saying that it's easier with Philly. They paid the receiver before they played Jalen Hurts. So they knew where the money had to.

Who did they? They just read up. I have to read up. But this is, but this is, this is and Devontay took a discount.

If I can't get him early, because he got early, he got to know him. He's not a number one either. That's what I'm saying. Like the receivers, like this, to me, that's what I'm trying to get to.

There's a hierarchy just because you inclined to get money. Don't mean you don't get all the money. But with the Bengals, it's just like, I see what they're doing, right? Like, we got to make sure we had to make sure we lock up Joe.

Everybody's getting paid off of the bread crumbs. You know what I'm saying? I'm sorry. I just want to say to you, I'm real quick.

I think you and Ken are right that we'll rectify self as far as the receivers being paid so much. But I think it comes after this class underperforms after teams realize that they're not reaching the Super Bowl because they have Amorase Brown or Brandon. Are you they're going to stop paying receivers that much money? I mean, I don't even think it's just the receivers.

I think it's going to be just, I think GMs and owners are looking at this as worth. And once again, this is not my ideology. I think that everybody should get paid whatever the fuck they want. It's not my money.

I don't care. But in terms of these white men's money, they look at this shit. Like I do not have to keep getting strong on by these agents and people telling me that you go have to give me 30 million a year for what? Who the fuck are you?

You know what I'm saying? At the end of the day, we've seen like shifting more sort of like the macro picture of professional sports. If they can't do it through trauma, you with the managerial side, they'll find people on the union side for the players to go in and basically gut the middle class for the salary and it's happening in the NBA right now. You can look at it just in the last summer of there's the middle class for NBA salaries used to be, you could get four year, 60 million for a couple of cool role players.

Now those contracts are not being sold out because of a C. Didn't McCollum in that new leadership that leadership did with the players union. So now I expect either the same trend to happen in a fail where they got this middle class completely because they're going to only pay their blue chippers and everyone else gets one year deals with minimums and one or two per year deals. But this is not going to keep happening.

They're looking at this like, why do we have 10 players making over $10 million on the Cleveland Browns? What have we what do we have to show for this? Why can we only afford to pay three guys blue chip money for the Dallas Cowboys when we want to retain guys like Stefan Gilmore more different players the Pat are our actual team. And I think that that's going to be the calculation that happens in the next part of two, three years that people want to set the teams more.

But you know what the thing is to in theory that's not as much but at the end of the day somebody's where paid he's got you know what I'm saying. So if you let him walk because you didn't pay him somebody else is going to pay him. And that's the thing that there will be collusion. That's not going to be it's collusion.

It's a but Raiders don't pay him. Hey, yo, LA don't pay him because we're not doing this. Where's we're putting a line up now where I'm not trying to pay fucking you know what I'm saying. Marquis Lee or Marquis Brown $25 million a year just because that's the market or whatever.

So let me ask you all this. Let me ask you all think I'm going to get 32 teams to all collude together. They did. They did some hard to the shot.

No, no, no, no. Everyone has a red time. Yeah. You can't.

That's the difference when it comes to players when you talk about money. I do agree. You can't you can't get collusion amongst the owners plus it can come down to the point where we're saying we'll pay you to not pay him. You know, like that will happen behind the scenes where me and this other me is you know, my team and you and his team here we get together to pay you not to pay our guy.

No, I'm on the board of Amazon. I'll give you some stock if you don't. Those kind of deals will happen behind the scenes to make sure they'll get it in line. It's going to be it's going to be a little bit better.

I don't know how how much further they can go, but I know it's going to come back for better than what it is because you got it was a point in time when only the premier players will hold out now which random is holding out. You know what I'm saying? We do and this is why it always going to come down to the politics of the sport where the players don't have to find a nut and unpause resume that you got to find your nuts and actually do something amongst the players because the owners are going to collude against y'all. They're going to start conspiring against you and your labor.

Now what you're going to do? What everyone can't keep saying the, well, I'm just trying to get a get a check. What happens when the owner finally say, all right, we are towing down the amount of checks we're giving out. Are you going to keep doing all that?

I get it. You didn't want to ride for cap because cap is going to be riding for himself right now. He wants some other shit. He got paid.

He cool. But dude, now if they start intentioning on money or y'all going to be like, man, what are you so I'm getting paid now? And they need to get more because they used to give us this money now. They're not so it's going to get real hot in NFL real soon because if I see people signing deals to go to the UK and Brazil, I'm thinking, why am I taking a take a take a.

Lamb got paid. Are you got paid? Yeah, you get the number one. You're a church member.

He's one of the best runners in the NFL. He's one of these guys. I want to end up. No, bro.

I told him to think and I keep selling them TVs. You'll be able to pay. God, Chase. I always say, I you can see me.

You had a number one. You had a number one on your own team, especially if it's a super bowl team. That's just me. Now I could disagree with that, but that's just me.

He's going to wire receiver. Yeah, but I tell it's a little bit. Tell it's a little bit. You can't do it.

You know what I'm receiving. But he's the number two option. Like, are you going to even the he's a weapon? People out there running in drooskey route like that.

She ain't like, she ain't. No, no, no, you ain't got it. Debo is like, Debo is like Marsha on Lynch and a wide receivers body. That's cool.

But that's not a wide receiver, bro. He don't run routes. Like did you all see Debo trying to do the route drill in practice? He was just like, hey, this is it.

But you want to borrow it. You want to borrow it. You want to buy it. You want to buy it.

That's the thing. Like, are you know, are you going to buy the fourth or fifth person that you want to borrow their hands on it? Say no. He's the main receiver on he's the actual receiver on me.

My cat is a very received and debo. It's all about how they get the ball strike down the field. The number one option down the field is like, you in space, it's debo and it's McCaffrey in the middle, it's kill. So that's the reason why they're so hard to guard because they can kill you in all phases of office.

No, we just got to hear it. It's that. They're not going down the field. They're often they'll run like this.

Oh, he's like, he's it was what was he like the fifth highest perceiving yards last year. Yeah. They're going to this guy. They're not going to this.

Everybody knows. Hey, most of the cities. Yeah. It's like, listen, they're not bombs away.

Like they were Kansas City Chiefs a couple of years ago. They're not going down a few. 100%. But the thing is, is that you have to look at I use numbers in the cycle of what those numbers are telling you.

He's amongst top five, right, in receiving yards with less targets because I don't disagree. And that's why people was higher on my list. But I also agree with you, Q. I don't think he's not just a wide receiver.

He's literally if fantasy football, he's the flex guy. He could do a little bit of everything. You put them everywhere. You want to get the ball in his hand, but it's not necessarily down the field.

I use their down the field. I mean, they don't have I you. If they don't have I you, guess what they do? They put it 10 million a mile.

The whole game. No, they know. No, they know. I you I you I you make I you make it to Debo more special the same way.

McCaffrey makes you Debo and I you more special. They need to it's like old. It's like I'm going to carry up each other. Yeah.

I agree with you. Take this is what we're saying. Like you said, okay, oh, last thing. Because I you could be a number one on multiple teams.

He'd be a number one. Well, hello. I'm on a case of city. He'd be a number one in in Carolina.

He'd be a number one. No receivers though. Okay, bro, there's multiple teams that don't even have another one receiver. He'd be a number one on like 12 teams.

He's number one on his team. Oh, super bowl team. I'm looking for look. But look, you know who right now you really reminds me of in terms of the technicality and it's on your brown.

He's no for real though, for real though, in terms of the on your routes and to look at the way he knows his routes. There's no route that he cannot run with technical efficiency, do like he's the same way. He didn't have crazy like, you know, measurables and talent. It was just his route running and knowing when to get open in his hands.

Are you got the same? I'm not going to disagree that he's not he's actually a great router. I'm going to give him his prize. But Antonio Brown is a different breeder.

I'm not going to let's not do that. I'm not going to say he's not a Hall of Fame. He's like that though. He is really like that.

Okay, he's like that. The point is the point is that's fine. Y'all are right. He's a good route.

One of the that's not as valuable in the 49ers offense as D. Bo Samuel as Christian McCaffrey as kill. That's just not as valuable. It adds to it.

Yes, it's complimentary. Y'all are 100% right. But it's just not as valuable in what Shanahan does on a play to play basis. Does it help?

Absolutely. I mean, sure. I don't think I need values. How many games did D.

Bo miss? And then they went without D. Bo? I used to go out of those games.

I don't think we can use the embarrassment of riches that the 49ers have to devalue any of the players because if you take it off any of those guys, I think the machine is still going to run pretty smoothly. It's just the embarrassment of riches that you can't say that that devalues. It's almost like saying, oh, well, they don't need Steph Curry because they had Katie in a play Thompson in their part. No, you need to win it all.

He's not the best player in the team, though. That's the thing. I mean, he might be player. He's not Katie.

He's like, Draybo. He's Draybo. He's a better round run. He's like in that 1% around.

I disagree. I'm not disagreeing with you. I think he's a great round runner. And maybe Rob can't get it there to where they need to use him.

So y'all are going to be like, I'm not going to defend Purdy. I'm just saying, so what's so much what I'm saying. There's too many variables here to say that he's not a number one. When he's still in show him what he can do.

So y'all know I'm not gonna defend perdy. I'm just so what's over here's what I'm saying. There's too many variables here I'm to say that he's not a number one. I'm still shown what you can do the only thing I was gonna say can we move on is the fact that they offer this nigga the same money he came back He's like yeah, really go let me leave Cleveland offering you a whole receiver who dinner mirrored my yard my production Hey, I still a You know like they was gonna let that nigga walk they gave him every opportunity Like you go out go find your deal with what's not a papers when you bring them back to it I mean He didn't negotiate for a higher contract though.

He like he used Pittsburgh And I think they were willing to go there I think they were I think a report came out that they were trying to trade a third-rounder for Portland sudden and then percent No, so then they were like alright. Well, let's try to get to your number and they did so I mean They got to they got to a number. I don't know if it was his number but they did speak in on speaking the numbers So what I'm seeing here on ESPN is at the 49ers and their star left tackle me and Trent Williams agreed Tuesday to a restructure three year 82.66 million dollar deal That includes 48 million signing a 25 point six nine million signing bonus and will pay him a league high 27 point six five million or off his line in this season according to his agency, so They straight yeah, they were talked about they can't pay everybody they paid everybody What we look at NFL football and he talked about salary cap the salary cap that and for whatever reason There was a handful of teams that figured it shit out. So I don't I don't understand the salary cap because when you look at the 49ers how many people they've paid obviously there's people that have moved our like Who's the D and chase?

Chase young you know saying like obviously they can't keep them all but they keep a lot of them, you know, I like it's not real money It's like accounting, bro. So yeah, they follow it for nigga And they pay and Brock Purdy like he works at Chick-fil-A I know which is why I'm surprised he was able to spend his money on our you because they know they about to pay if Purdy if pretty wins what 10 games and gets him to the second round of playoffs he gets 60 million a year They are not giving the price pretty system Because anybody who got paid just recently party because I went to a subo and to AFC And if you title next yeah, because I'm in and I had a super bowl and I had a lead a super bowl for you How many how many other teams you think would become close to that number if 49ers are like, you know what? That's not a number for us you could like how you go see what the market said I agree with people a thousand they went through several quarterbacks did my channel hand thought he could win because it's gonna Have system and it couldn't win now. They have their guy.

They're going to pay him It's like I'm not saying that they're not going to pay him. I'm saying they're not going to pay him 60 million I'm saying really when I pay okay All I'm saying is that if the 49ers say that numbers too high go see what the market said what team that needs a quarterback You think are is gonna offer Purdy 60 million at least eight years Yeah, at least if he was those games Games this year at least 18s won't want him to come Jimmy go rock alone We're not projecting his career I'm not so sure that the 49ers value the QB position like every other team does I think people I think I was in it as a huge ego I think that he can I think he thinks he could put anybody in there and they can get them to situations we see no we know he can't though because I had a lot of Super Bowl I mean they got to go with me go up with that Jimmy G there But when we got there he pissed a bit no Not it just by greatness in part You know pretty out against a book I couldn't like he was our party was not he didn't he didn't lose them back that game He didn't win it exactly The guy that are worth the 60 million right are the guys that aren't necessarily pulled by the team They're the guys that are the difference of winning and lose that is gonna get you give that you would give that six million That's 60 you will let it back walk back in 60. All right, cuz we're gonna end up in this This who will get 60 million debate. Let's let's go to this last one We have in this first segment first complete segment Viewers choice Nick Can you break this down because I'm not exactly sure how we were working this one because this is different from our base, right?

Yes, yes So this is the chance for the viewers whether you watching us on YouTube or listen to us on the podcast You'll go on the debt and sports ready thread Every week probably on the Tuesday before that weekend I will post or one of us at least will post three two to three games That we're not choosing as far as the dead and sports crew. We're letting y'all decide that so y'all can be a part of the weekly pick Ons so every week. I'll make it from like Tuesday to Saturday. Yeah, I'll get y'all picks and y'all vote on which teams will win I'll tally that up and then that would be the viewers Wins and loss record so y'all be playing right with us for different games, but it's gonna be good But we just gonna see who is who can pick the best and we'll rank out within with our final rankings at the end of season two So just go to the dentist was ready to subscribe to that and make sure you just vote on which teams are I got three games out there right now I think it's Dallas Cleveland Jacksonville, Miami and It's very Atlanta.

Yeah, it's very Atlanta All right cool, yeah, I put that in the in the chat of course, but um, but yeah the spot you guys want to go to is the dentist Words subreddit so yep, yeah, we're looking forward to that seeing how you guys do So we will leave it there for those of you listening to the replay on the podcast feed We'll be back after this quick break All right moving along. Let's get into it man. This is why everyone is here Okay, I need confirmation are we are we putting the craziest list last again? Let me know let us know No, so the way the way we're gonna do is uh We'll do the AFC wildcard Everybody's picks and we do the NFC and we'll do the division winners and the conference winners and they last we reveal everybody's Super Bowl picks individually All right, so let's jump into it.

We will start with the division winners Wow, all right I don't know. So you just I heard all of that. I just thought that was coming after we discussed the vision winners, but okay, all right Walk right it is then Okay, what do y'all got walk? All right.

Let's see. We got some numbers up here So I guess I see Kyle so Kyle shout out to Kyle. He's got Pittsburgh, Miami Cincinnati Can you got Pittsburgh Miami Cincinnati Luke got LA Chargers Titans Cincinnati? I got LA Chargers Baltimore Ravens Jackson bill Jaguars FIFA got Chargers bills bangles Shelton has Jaguars Steelers bangles and then Q I see you got Baltimore Miami, Cincinnati Baltimore is like one in eight versus Pittsburgh last like couple seasons.

Yeah, it's weird. It's weird with teams have a better record Would you break it down like the fact that you've got a shitty record against the Browns the Marques B Pittsburgh? And look at the Marques B Patty Be Cleveland Yeah, bro got to stay healthy for that though but Why I guess my thing is why do y'all feel that Miami is gonna be a playoff team? Why Because I sat and I really almost left them off I was on the NFL calm and I was looking at these different schedules and stuff like that and I was trying to I was going through the wins Bro and it looked like it's some losses on the schedule that keep them up I picked them off of the fact that they're bringing that core unit back together most of that unit back together So I'm banking on Um, yeah, the continuity there.

I just think the rest of the division is gonna be bad. That's that's what I'm thinking too That's something to I don't think any there's not another playoff team in that division I think I think Buffalo punts the season by halfway through. I think that the Jets probably fall apart and We ain't about the other team. I'm curious I'll go ahead if you fly in yeah, like for me to build um, I have Spoiler I have the dog is winning the division.
