Dead Ringers 28 - INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS (1956) + INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS (1978)

Nolan is joined by Ben McBride, Paul Farrell, and Philip Yount to discuss Don Siegel's INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS (1956) and Philip Kaufman's INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS (1978). The crew digs into new discoveries and rewatches, as well as recent horror releases — including a lengthy review of Jordan Peele's US (2019) (**Spoilers from 44:00 - 1:02:00**) — before aliens infiltrate and replace each of the co-hosts with an emotionless clone (and also compost their bodies or whatever). Other movies discussed on this episode: CLIMAX (2018), CRITTERS (1986), CRITTERS 2 (1988), CRITTERS 3 (1991), CRITTERS 4 (1992), CRITTERS: A NEW BINGE (2019), ONE CUT OF THE DEAD (2018), CUTTING CLASS (1989) (Blu-ray), BOOK OF MONSTERS (2019) (VOD), LEPRECHAUN 4: IN SPACE (1997), ANNA AND THE APOCALYPSE (2018), OVERLORD (2018), GONJIAM: HAUNTED ASYLUM (2018), THE DEVIL'S ADVOCATE (1997), THE GIFT (2000), US (2019).
