Dead Show/podcast for 10/22/10

from The Deadpod

This week we have another long Deadpod - I hope you don't mind too much but I couldn't bear to break it up.. this set is the second set from a show the Dead played at Red Rocks back in 1978, just before they left for the famous Egypt shows. I decided to share it with you this week because it contains probably the finest version ever of 'If I Had The World To Give'.... I can't say enough about this one.. don't miss it.. The rest of the set isn't too shabby either - I always enjoy a good 'Eyes of the World' and this one is no exception, but the band only played 'If I Had The World to Give' four times.. and this one is fabulous.. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do..   Grateful Dead Red Rocks Amphitheater, Morrison, CO 8/30/78 Set 2: I Need A Miracle Brown Eyed Women Estimated Prophet-> The Other One-> Eyes of the World-> Drums-> Space-> If I Had The World To Give-> Iko, Iko-> Around & Around E: US Blues   You can listen to this week's Deadpod here: http://traffic.libsyn.com/deadshow/deadpod102210.mp3    Thank you so much for your support.. and be sure and visit Keely Electronics here!!
