Deadline Week Begins

We are less than a week away from the NHL Trade Deadline and action is starting to pick up. We had some significant news over the weekend with Elias Pettersson officially signing his extension with the Vancouver Canucks and the Washington Capitals waiving Evgeny Kuznetsov. Frank and Jason broke down those two stories and then got into what could be going down this week.There are still some teams who have some tough decisions to make this week. The New Jersey Devils are on the outside looking in when it comes to the playoff race in the Eastern Conference, the Penguins are continuing to sputter along, and the Flames have to make a decision on Jacob Markstrom. There is a lot going on around the league right now.They also talked about a handful of teams in the Western Conference that are expected to make big moves at some point before Friday at 3pm ET.
