Deadwood S02E02- A Lie Agreed Upon, Part 2

from Spoil Me · host Natasha Kingston

Another round of applause to Patrick for commissioning these episodes!I'm going to be honest with y'all here; there are a few things in this episode that confused me, and if anyone's got some light to shed on the subject, I'm all ears. I won't get into it here, but listen in and you will hear the moments. Patrick was in the chat and helped me out a few times, but there were a couple things I'm not sure even he knew. This episode mostly deals with Seth and Alma having to decide whether they're going to flee the camp together and dump all of their responsibilities on someone else, or if they're going to put one another aside and soldier on with their duties. In the end they come to their senses and see that running is the most selfish possible thing they could do, but it's super painful nonetheless and I feel for them both. Also, Al is not doing too well health-wise, between whatever's going on in his downstairs and getting thrown off the damn balcony. He winds up having to deal with the long-awaited showdown (in a way) between Dan and Silas, and it's kind of adorable and also kind of pathetic. Thank you all so much for listening, and I will see you again soon with a new episode!
