Deadwood, S03E11- The Catbird Seat

from Spoil Me · host Natasha Kingston

Thank you to Patrick for commissioning this episode! Except no thank you, and I hate you, and I hate this show, and everyone can pretty much go to hell. Honestly, there's only a handful of characters that I love so much on this show that I would react this way to their death, and they zeroed in on the exact one that hurts the most. I'm totally bereft. The whole setup of the death, as well, and the conversation Ellsworth was having with himself when it happened, makes the whole thing so much more heartbreaking and the loss so much more acute. This was a man who cared deeply, about everyone, and he was taken by a man who cared for literally no one. Ugh ugh ugh. I can't believe there's only one episode left. I can't imagine how this season ends after the turn the story has taken. Agh. I'm going to be unsatisfied, aren't I?
