Deadwood, S03EE07- Unauthorized Cinnamon

from Spoil Me · host Natasha Kingston

Thank you again to Patrick for commissioning this episode! I find this one to be pretty surprising, as well as satisfying, in how human and subtle it is. The whole move that our faves decide to play in publishing Seth's letter was so understated that I had to watch this episode twice to really appreciate how masterful a stroke it really is. Does it accomplish anything strictly material? Maybe not. But it undermines Hearst in a way that he can't publicly refute without admitting it was him who had the man killed, while humanizing everyone who takes a stand against him. I'm here for it, ladies and gents. Thanks for the listen, and I will see you soon with a new episode!
