Today we continue our series Dealing with Desire. There is a natural progression to dealing with desire and having real transformation. Oftentimes we focus first on our physical body, what we should or shouldn’t do, and then get discouraged and frustrated when we don’t get lasting transformation. But this is the last step. We need to start with setting our hearts and minds on Christ. We can’t make ourselves do what is right unless our hearts are purified. We won’t have purified hearts until we renew our minds and let God reorient us to what is good. And in order to renew our minds, we first need a heart of submission to God. Here is Tory Bjorklund, President of TRC Ministries, continuing his teaching in part 3 of Dealing With Desire.
