Dealing with Diversions
from Island Community Church (Memphis) · host Barrett Bowden
Do you ever get distracted? There are times when it can seem difficult to get anything completed because of a lot of other things trying to pull our attention away from the primary task at hand! Anytime we engage in work of any kind, we will face distractions. This is especially true when engaging in the work of God. Today as we study Nehemiah 6-7, we will see from God's Word how to deal with the distractions we face in life & ministry. In order to complete the wall, Nehemiah and the people must deal with the diversions the enemy tries to throw in their path. Their actions are exemplary and Christ-like. Through hard work and much prayer, they see the purposes of God accomplished: the wall is completed! In the areas of vision & ministry God has given us, we must do the same! When we do, we will see the purposes of God accomplished in our lives, church, city, and world. We are so glad you're here!
