From the phones, the way we use them, the labor of seeking approval, and all of the money-draining services. When we go deeper into the fold, we can see that we as people are starting to get obsessed with material things and companies are looking to hold that over our collective heads. In some cases, these things fracture relationships, cause violence and even end life. Commercialization in a capitalist society is a commodity and the more targeted this advertising becomes to every facet of our life, the more urgency seems to be real to have something that probably don’t need or does more harm than good.
