Dealing With Your Doubts

from Transformation Church · host Pastor Joseph Nieves

Bible Text: John 20 Have you ever struggled with doubt, or am I the only one? Doubts that you were good enough? Doubts that things would get better in your life? Doubts that your marriage could actually heal? Doubts that you’d even get married in the first place? Doubts that you would overcome that addiction? Doubts that your anxiety would go away? Maybe you’ve doubted if your life really matters, or if there’s a purpose to the pain. Or, doubts that your favorite sports team will win a championship. 😊 Let me ask you some deeper questions, have you ever had doubts with your faith? Have you ever wrestled with questions about what you believe? Have you ever had moments where you wondered, ‘Is God really listening?’ or ‘What if I’ve got this all wrong?’ or ‘does God really love me?’ or ‘does prayer even work?’ or ‘Can God really forgive me?’ or ‘does God really care?’” If that’s you—you’re not alone. In fact, on this Easter Sunday, you’re in good company. Because even the people closest to Jesus wrestled with doubt. And the good news is this: Jesus doesn’t shame us for our doubts—He meets us in them.
