Dear Trauma,

from ShaeButter Therapy · host ShaeButterTherapy

Dear Trauma, We are done allowing past experiences hold us back from creating a life. Alot of things I went through in life either self inflicted or not I wouldn't want to erase those experience because it's what shaped me today; however it isn't what made me. We get to create our own narrative of our lives. Now with that being said I mean a more positive narrative not destructive. We learn in this podcast epoidse it's okay to 1) isolate yourself. How are the people who are meant for you able to attract to you if you are always seeking the wrong ones. 2) find a way to release your trauma. For me it was journaling; doing that allowed me to voice how I felt and to visually see how it's effecting me. 3) Self reflect. Looking the man in the mirror is never easy. But usually alot of trials and tribulation are caused on ourselfs once we enter into adulthood. Looking at yourself will allow you to not make the wrong turns at the fork in the road of your life.
