Dearborn installs AI cameras on all their school buses

Dearborn launches Michigan’s first citywide school bus safety program, installing AI-powered cameras on all district buses. The technology records drivers who illegally pass stopped buses and provides evidence for police review. City leaders say the data will also guide education and traffic safety planning, with the goal of changing driver behavior and protecting children on their way to and from school.
