Death

"I wouldn't be able to be who I am now if that old me didn't die. Not physically - but spiritually, emotionally, my ego... everything I thought that my life was. I think that Death is so important and I feel like new things, and new life, and birth can't happen until death happens." Welcome to the Communion! In our first episode we talk about: Death. We go deep, but we're not dark. We shamelessly talk about death in all aspects: the physical, the spiritual, the natural, the cyclical, and the "final". We dive into themes such as: Near-death experiences Culture and society's perceptions of death Ego death Surrender & resistance Identity, naming & its limitations "The Empty Room" and allowing space for nothingness Debunking death as "failure" Rebirth Trigger warning: We very lightly explore the topic of suicide with sensitivity.
