Steve holds a Master’s degree in Organization Development and a Master’s degree in Spiritual Psychology.His marketing experience took an interesting twist in 2013 when he became Director of Marketing for the Cal State University Institute for Palliative Care. There, he began to dive into the worlds of hospice and palliative care education.His task at that point was to help bring awareness of the value of hospice and palliative care to doctors, nurses, social workers, and chaplains.In this conversation, Steve discusses his journey into the world of hospice and palliative care education and the importance of having conversations about death and end-of-life care.
