In the 17th volume of my Death is DUMB series, I finally get to Elvis. We know his tragic death, but when was the last time we considered his complete body of music? I survey his career from beginning to end – all the highs and lows, and weigh in on whether or not he deserves the praise on both a cultural and especially a musical level. Are you an Elvis fan? Rabid? Casual? Love/hate? Or just plain hate? Which period(s) do you prefer, if any? How do you feel about his legacy? Do you think he was truly the King of Rock n Roll? Discuss dammit!
