If we serve as a source of wisdom for anyone, especially our children, may our instruction be consistent with all the law of God. As we are students of wisdom, under anyone, especially our Christian parents, may we honor the whole council of God in honoring them. In chapter 5, the author emphasizes the relationship between the 5th & 7th commandments. Those who heed the council of their godly parents, will not commit adultery, instead their upbringing will prepare them to discern and resist unfaithfulness to their covenants with God and their family.
