Debate between Candidates for Mayor of New Bern NC

New Bern Now hosted a debate between Candidates running for Mayor of New Bern in April 2022 moderated by Katherine Adolph. At the time there were four candidates in the running. The municipal election was held on May 19, 2022. Toussaint Summers, Jr. received the most votes, but did not win 50% of the vote plus one. Alderman Jeffrey Odham requested a runoff. Early voting is happening now thru Saturday, July 23 at 3 p.m. and the Runoff Election will be held on Tuesday, July 26 from 6:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Let us know if you have any questions or comments by emailing [email protected].
