This habit stems from having to become a responsible adult at a very early age.Deborah’s dad got very sick when she was 20, and she had to quit school a year earlier to care for him. This huge responsibility meant she had to grow up quickly. A year later, her dad died. Deborah didn’t get the opportunity to get advice from her parents about how to adult. Her dad’s situation threw her in the ring with the ball, and she had to figure it out alone.Lessons learnedDon’t give up on yourself even when you can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel.
