Each year more than 144 million Valentine cards are exchanged, making it the second largest greeting card holiday, not to mention flowers, chocolates, jewelry and other tokens of affection. Projections are that 18.2 billion dollars will have been spent in the United States alone when this day is over! While love may be in the air, many ask, is love in their stars?
