Debra Zane

Debra Zane is a Los Angeles-based casting director known for films such as The Hunger Games, American Beauty, and Catch Me If You Can. Debra sits down with host Joanna Colbert to discuss the idea that auditioning is your job, radical acceptance of the zoom audition era, her love of props (vs. my aversion to them), and her devotion to helping actors do their best. The Casting Session is an inside look at filmmaking through the perspective of casting, with enlightening interviews from the industry's top casting directors, actors, directors, and producers, giving you a behind-the-scenes look into the casting process.
