December 2 :: Delilah

Judges 16: 1-22 Samson has ruled over Israel for 20 years but he still hasn't learned his lesson. We find him in Philistine territory seeking the woman of his dreams named Delilah. These two are as toxic as you can get. Both sucking the life out of one another. This is only scratches the surface of Samson's problems. He's about to break covenant with God and all of his supernatural favor with God is seemingly going to vaporize in the snip of his locks. It's a cautionary tale for Israel regarding what life looks like inside and outside of covenant with God. It's one for us as well.
