Dr. Chim began his education in Singapore, then completed his plastic surgery residency at Case Western Reserve University, followed by hand fellowship at the Mayo Clinic. He is currently a full professor at the University of Florida and will soon be the Chief of Plastic Surgery at Louisiana State University. He is a world-renown expert in a variety of fields including peripheral nerve and brachial plexus surgery, thin perforator flaps, vascularized bone grafts and replantation, and has authored more than 160 publications.
