It was a big week for the Texas Longhorns, with the volleyball team demolishing the top teams in the B1G Ten on the way to its second-consecutive NCAA Championship. Early in the season, it felt like this Texas team may not have been up to the lofty standards set by previous iterations, but when push came to shove they were elite and proved beyond any doubt that they are the best in the nation. Early Signing Day is also upon us, with Texas finding the next crop of talent to take with them into the SEC. For the third straight year, Steve Sarkisian and company brought in an top-five class, positioning themselves alongside the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Georgia Bulldogs as the most talented teams in the SEC going forward.
