DECEMBER 23- Habakkuk 1:1–3:19: Habakkuk questions God’s use of wicked Babylon to judge Judah; God replies that Babylon will also fall.- In awe, Habakkuk rejoices in God’s sovereignty and strength, trusting Him even if all else fails.- Psalm 146:1–10: Praise the Lord lifelong; trust God, not princes—He upholds the oppressed, feeds the hungry, frees prisoners, and reigns forever.- Proverbs 30:17: The eye that mocks a father and despises an aged mother will be pecked out by ravens and eaten by vultures.- Revelation 13:1–18: Beast from sea (antichrist empire) receives dragon’s power, is worshiped after healing; beast from earth enforces mark (666) and image worship.- No one can buy or sell without the beast’s mark or number; God’s people must endure with wisdom.
