Deception / Discernment Part 2 - Dr EJ Buckardt

Rev. Dr. EJ Buckardt continues Deception / Discernment — Part 2. Satan’s aim is to get people — and even pastors — to disobey God, so the sin of disobedience separates them from Him. The church is called back to obedience, repentance, forgiveness, and restoration. Satan looks for ways to spread deception through people and pastors A wrong vision of the purpose of life is one of his strategies Sin is transgression of the law — disobedience of God’s commandments (1 John 3:4) We choose whom we serve: sin unto death, or obedience unto righteousness (Romans 6:16) Following Christ includes suffering, not a prosperity-only gospel The churches around the world need repentance (2 Chronicles 7:14) Galatians 6:7 — “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” Also in this message: Matthew 7:21–23, Galatians 2:20, Luke 9:23–24, Isaiah 50:2, 2 Timothy 4:3–4.
