This week's guest Rob has been training in martial arts for over 24 years and has earned a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Karate and a Purple Belt in Brazilian jujitsu. He was on the International martial arts team Full Circle and ran his own martial arts school for four years. He has been consulting for martial arts businesses for 10 years and because of his experiences in the industry, he founded McDojo Life, a web entity where he has been exposing fakes, phonies, frauds, and pedophiles for the last decade. Throughout the conversation, Rachel and Rob both examine the similarities between cultic religious groups and martial arts schools. He points out the red flags students should look out for and what questions to ask potential instructors. Rob demonstrates with Rachel the five objections technique employed by salespeople, cult leaders, and martial arts instructors alike. Before You Go: Rachel provides further insights into how to be safe from control in a teacher/student relationship in any setting and reiterates the importance of examing these relationships even in seemingly innocuous organizations. Knowland Knows on Odysee Knowland Knows Are you sick of woke-washing in education? Free speech distinguishes education from indoctrination.I taught at Eton College before I was fired because 'The Patriarchy Paradox' caused offence. My degree is in English Language and Literature, but my interests are broad. In E. R. Curtius’s famous definition in 'European Literature and the Latin Middle Ages', literature is ‘the great intellectual and spiritual tradition of Western culture as given form in language’.Because that tradition is under attack, I post a video transmitting it every Monday at 5pm. Solzhenitsyn knew that to 'destroy a people, you must first sever their roots'. Reconnect to your roots here to resist the attack and rebuild. If you would like access to exclusive content, please join my Patreon:https://www.patreon.com/knowlandknowsFor help with your studies in English, whether one-to-one or in groups, please contact me for online tutoring below The Secret Kindergarten | For Young Children Gino Volante The Secret Kindergarten is here to support parents of young children.
