Deceptive Delicacies

We must be mindful of accepting money and things from people. Most times, these things are given under conditions, circumstances, and understood pretenses. When people in the world give gifts, they tend to expect some level of control. When they find that they can’t control you, they then love to take these gifts back. The Bible calls these gifts deceptive delicacies. Tune in! “When you sit down to eat with a ruler, Consider carefully what is before you; And put a knife to your throat If you are a man given to appetite. Do not desire his delicacies, For they are deceptive food.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭23‬:‭1‬-‭3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
