Decision Makers: Mike Keenan

In this episode of ECAC Hockey: Decision Makers, Pierre McGuire sits down with legendary NHL coach Mike Keenan (St. Lawrence University, Class of '72). Known as "Iron Mike," Keenan takes us through his incredible journey from playing college hockey in the North Country to lifting the Stanley Cup with the New York Rangers in the 90s. He shares untold stories about the intense St. Lawrence vs. Clarkson rivalry, his early days coaching in the AHL under Scotty Bowman's organization, and what it was like to coach superstars like Wayne Gretzky, Mark Messier, and Mario Lemieux during the 1987 Canada Cup.
