Decisions Pt. 2

In this sermon, we look at the importance of making decisions with God’s wisdom rather than relying on our own understanding. Drawing from James 3:13-18, we examine the contrast between earthly wisdom—driven by selfish ambition and disorder—and heavenly wisdom, which is pure, peaceable, and leads to righteousness. Proverbs 1:7 reminds us that “the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge,” emphasizing that true wisdom starts with reverence for God. If we lack wisdom, James 1:5 encourages us to ask God, who gives generously to those who seek Him. This sermon challenges us to depend on God’s wisdom in every decision, ensuring that our choices align with His will rather than worldly influence.
