Decolonizing Creativity

from Queer Magic Podcast · host Luis Cornejo | Therapist | Model | Speaker | Consultant |

We are all innately creative as human beings. Yet, something happens during our transition from childhood into adulthood. Creativity shifts and changes for many of us. Often times it gets shrouded and shaped by systems of oppression that dictate and capitalize on creativity. Join me and my special guest Chetna Mehta (she/they) as we talk about decolonizing creativity. About my guest: Chetna Mehta (she/they) is a granddaughter of Indian and South African diasporas. She works and plays as an educating artist, alchemist, facilitator and founder of Mosaiceye LLC, a therapeutic practice with a mission to steward peace, love and freedom on earth via expressive healing arts and reflective community circles. She collaborates with progressive organizations, coalitions, social movements, women and nonbinary changemakers.
