As a student in the Global Leadership PhD Program at Troy University, Tisa is researching the phenomenon of “Black Girl Magic.” Tisa proffers, “while black girl magic speaks to a black woman’s ability to succeed against all odds, the odds are very real and challenging, especially when it comes to leadership.” Join me and Tisa in an enlightening conversation as she deconstructs some of the ideas of “black girl magic” and offer us ways in which black women can live and lead that are not injurious to our physical, mental, financial, spiritual, and relational health.
