CHAPERONE (Great Circles / Richmond, VA) Chaperone (@chaperonetechno) is producer David Coccagna, a native Philadelphian now living in RVA. He has released heavy and experimental material on labels like Great Circles (for which he does album artwork), Bastakiya Tapes, and Always Human Tapes. In the upcoming months expect a new 12" on Great Circles and an EP on the new deep-listening label Enmossed. Though much of his output is experimentally rhythmic, ambient and teetering on noisy soundscapes, he had hosted a weekly brunch in Philadelphia where he played jazz, funk, fusion, prog, and soul.
