Depression and anxiety are A LOT tougher to deal with alone than it is with a support system. I had to step back from music because these things started to consume me after my mother and aunt passed away within 3 months of each other in 2017. I thought that this one would be just for my personal listening pleasure. But, I see now that the issue of mental health needs to be shared so that other people can get the help/support that they need to be better. I have my support system, but not everyone does. I have no projects coming anytime soon and I don't care about #s...I care about getting the word out that this is WAY more common than myself, or many of you ever thought. Many of us need help, if not from a shrink, from friends and family. I would be a hypocrite NOT to share this. Too many good people are going because they don't share. Well, from a person who doesn't share, this is absolutely the realest song that I have ever written. If you know someone who needs to hear this, please share it with them.
