Deep Electronics Podcast # 159 - Neptic

Welcome to the 159th chapter of the Deep Electronics Podcast. The weekly released podcast bringing you the best music in the deep music genre. This weeks set is mixed by Neptic from South Africa. Enjoy!! Bio: My journey began 2008/2009, once upon a time was taught the art of mixing by a friend of mine via a well known software called Virtual Dj, after those few learning sessions it was me, my laptop and Virtual DJ 24/7, I kept practicing and recording mixes then started getting my first few gigs around my neighborhood. Along my journey I met new people who introduced me to the art of mixing via CDJs, I enjoyed it and that’s when my love for underground music grew. As I ventured into the underground scene, I got influenced by the likes of Doyeq, Zzzra, Kat la Kat, DJ Buda, Audud, Alessandro Crim, Ohwert, Fouk, Julian Gomes the list is endless and I decided it was the right time to start my own storytelling session (podcast) called “Rooted Blend” where I showcase my musically taste and skill. I reached out to the right people and got more bookings, djing at places like Welcomes Place Tsakane, Hawaii Voslorus, The Palace and Eatery Heidelberg and Kasie FM just to mention a few of my peak achievements. Behind the decks, my style of DJing is not only to make you dance but more of storytelling. I enjoy combing different textures to my mixes and live sets. Besides DJing I am also a audio producer, I play some of the music I produces on “Rooted Blend” or at my gigs. Most of the stuff I have been producing is Ambient and Dub Techno but I do produce Hip-Hop there and there. I have not yet release my music online but that’s ones of the things I am working on doing in the near future. Tracklist: 01. Neptic - Another Trip To Space !!! 02. Warmth - The Place 03.
