Deep Hopics Movie Review Ep. 18 - Frogs (1972)

Just in time for the 4th of July, Kyle and Robert grab their hoppy beers and breakdown the 1972 horror movie Frogs. The movie stars a mustache-less Sam Elliott as an ecological photographer and it only gets weirder from there. The local wildlife seem intent on getting revenge against a patriarchal millionaire and his family who are vacationing at the island. The island is filled with dangers including snakes, spiders, alligators, geckos, komodo dragons, sentient vines, and Toads (but for some inexplicable reason, no Frogs). Were the amphibious assassins calling the shots all along? Or were these rich dummies just really bad at staying alive? Tune in this week to find out!
