Deep Kumar - Yoga as a Way of Life and Sacred Practice for Healing and Self-Discovery

from going out | looking in · host Maximilian Bartel

"Yoga to me is a combination of science and art which guides us towards the right way of living." Namaste, friends. Today, we're exploring one of my all-time favorite subjects and one of the biggest influences on my personal spiritual growth and expansion: Yoga. That being said, I was on the lookout for a suitable guest to address the topic of Yoga in an adequate way, and I'm so happy to say that I've found the perfect match. My guest today is Deep Kumar. Deep was born in India and began his journey into Yoga in 1994. He followed the path of traditional Yogis and the art and science of Yoga by learning at the Tapovan Dhyan Dham Vidhyapeeth, a classical Yoga ashram located at the foothills of the Himalayas. Thereafter, he pursued the advanced Yoga teacher training course at the world-renowned Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute. He is trained in various styles such as Ashtanga, Hatha, Yin, and Meditation. He is also specialized in Yogic breathing (Pranayama) and other aspects of Yoga, all for the purpose of health and rejuvenation. To me, Deep is a true embodied Yogi – someone who not only has an unbelievably deep understanding of Yogic philosophy and theory but also is highly skilled in the fields of anatomy, physiotherapy, and Western science. In his work as a teacher, he effortlessly combines the ancient traditional Yogic teachings with 21st-century Western approaches to healing and holistic health. All of that is part of Deep's very own Yoga school called "Yoga New Vision". 👉 We explored a broad variety of topics such as: - Deep dive into the 5 paths of yoga - On the interconnectedness of yoga paths - Who are you? Remembering the Self - Real Self versus false Self - The origin of true happiness or suffering - Working with inner blockages: Samskaras - Deep's new vision for Yoga 🎧 PODCAST: ▶️ Website ▶️ Spotify ▶️ Apple Podcasts ▶️ Google Podcasts ▶️ Amazon Podcasts 🔗 MY GUEST: ▶️ Yoga Teacher Training with Deep in Bali ▶️ Website ▶️ Instagram 🙋‍♂️ MY STUFF: ▶️ Website ▶️ My creative agency ▶️ Instagram ▶️ LinkedIn ▶️ Michael Singer Weekly Talks ▶️ Micheal Singer Podcast ▶️ Waking Up App (free month) ▶️ My book recommendations 📩 CONTACT: [email protected]
