The rhythm is often set by percussion in the vein of African drums (bongos, congas). While this type of music was already featured at festivals like Burning Man in 2017, the term "Organic House" was officially coined in June 2020 by Beatport to highlight this genre. It's a slower, more melancholic version of house music that immerses you in a state of reflection and peace. Leading artists include Lee Burridge, Sébastien Léger, Oliver Koletzki, and Roy Rosenfeld.
