Deep Waters by Kai-Anne Clews

from Original Christian Poetry · host Kai-Anne Clews

Sometimes it can all feel too difficult, The path that He's given you, too rough. Sometimes you can cry out for death, Weeping, you whisper "Enough..." "Please let it end, holy father... Please let this pain cease... Please, I beg you my Jesus, Come. Bring me your peace." Tears that salt the soul, Fall silently, While Angels, Gently gather each one... These deep waters will be parted, And we'll be lead out, by the Son. And all that caused our mourning, The reason for every tear, Will persue us into those waters, And there, engulfed, will disapear. There then the Shepered. Standing before Him, His sheep... The Lord says "Come now, my faithful... My promises, I surely do keep."
