Deeper: A Look in the Mirror

Deeper is back and Casey has some deep takes.  If you are willing to look into the mirror and reflect, here you go...Word!  So how are you doing?  Are you encouraging or attacking?  I'm serious with that question for you and I both.  If your ego gets the best of you, welcome to the club which is also the rest of the world.  Have you been mocked for your beliefs in Christianity?  Well, then you are in good graces.  It is exactly what Jesus say will happen to you.  Check Matt 5:11 or Luke 6:22.If you are mocked and turn the other cheek just like Jesus, well then you are in very elite company.  I fail in that regard often.  Just being real.  It is something I must continue to work on and ask Jesus for assistance.  I take Casey's advice very seriously and I advise you to do the same.  If you have gone out attacking, change your mind and heart and apologize.  Own your mistakes with those you have attacked and expect nothing in return from those you have struck verbally or beyond.  God has shown you and I great mercy and grace already.  Romans 8:1. Ending on a song note, humble pie for most of us that will own it, no?  You really believe in Jesus?  Well then let God do what God is most "Famous For" and let us flawed believers stick to the encouragement business.  Deal?  I'll keep working on it and may you as well.  This is "Famous For" by Tauren Wells.  If you dig, please add it to your "I need to remember what my God can do".
