Deeper Than Your Pockets
from United Pursuit Church Hosted by United Pursuit Church
In a world of widespread financial struggles, biblical generosity goes beyond money to reflect God's character and acknowledge His ownership of everything. True generosity is sacrificial, not just giving from excess, and follows the principle that generous sowing leads to generous reaping. Rather than adhering to a legalistic 10% tithe, the New Testament emphasizes cheerful, sacrificial giving from the heart. When Christians unite in generosity, they create powerful impact—meeting immediate needs while providing long-term solutions, just as the early church ensured no one among them was needy.
