Def Jam's HOW TO BE A PLAYER Movie Reaction! | First Time Watch! | Bill Bellamy | Natalie Desselle

Jaby & Michael react to How to Be a Player (1997), a comedy that follows a smooth-talking ladies’ man whose carefully balanced dating life begins falling apart after his sister decides it’s time to expose his nonstop cheating and manipulation. Packed with late-90s comedy energy, relationship chaos, and escalating misunderstandings, the film leans heavily into outrageous situations and fast-paced humor as everything spirals out of control. This reaction stands out for its wild comedy, nostalgic 90s atmosphere, and nonstop awkward situations, as Jaby & Michael experience every ridiculous lie, chaotic reveal, and comedic disaster in real time. Directed by Lionel C. Martin (Never Die Alone, music video directing, Mo’ Money music videos, hip-hop visual projects, urban comedy films), the film stars Bill Bellamy (Love Jones, Any Given Sunday, Fastlane, Insecure, The Brothers), Natalie Desselle-Reid (BAPS, Cinderella, Eve, Def Jam’s How to Be a Player, Madea’s Big Happy Family*), Bernie Mac (The Bernie Mac Show, Ocean’s Eleven, Transformers, Friday, Guess Who), Lark Voorhies (Saved by the Bell, Days of Our Lives, In the House, How High, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine), and Anthony Johnson (Friday, House Party, Menace II Society, BAPS, I Got the Hook-Up*), bringing together a cast tied to iconic comedy, cult favorites, and recognizable 90s entertainment that continues to drive strong reaction and nostalgia-based audience appeal. ___________________________________________________ We've got merch!
