Defeating the Enemies of Success | Overcoming Discouragement: Defeating the Enemies of Success (Part 2)

In this urgent message, Dr. Michael Youssef exposes discouragement as one of Satan’s most destructive weapons against God’s people. Drawing from 1 Kings 19, he shows how even Elijah—the prophet who called fire from heaven—collapsed in fear when he stopped listening to the Word of the Lord. Dr. Youssef warns that discouragement grows when believers lose their eternal perspective, isolate themselves, and forget the power of the living God. Yet the Lord meets His children with mercy, calling them back through the gentle whisper of His Word. This episode urges believers to repent of hopeless thinking, anchor their courage in Scripture, and stand firm in the will of God so they may defeat this deadly enemy of spiritual success.
