How often do you defer responsibility of your choices by having others choose for you? ⁣ ⁣ I realized I was doing this all the time masking it as being a “team player”, “fluid”, or “cool” resulting in obligations I didn’t want and some really hard lessons. ⁣ ⁣ Ultimately, this pattern was disempowering by handing over my choices to others with the hope and expectation they would meet my needs.
