Deivid Washington’s Strasbourg Move | Chelsea F.C. News

Chelsea’s Deivid Washington, 21, is on the move again—this time to Strasbourg in Ligue 1—as the French club makes a second bid for the striker stuck in limbo since his 2024 transfer fell through due to multi-club ownership rules. After scoring just once in 17 games for Santos and barely featuring for Chelsea under Pochettino, Washington could finally get his career back on track with Strasbourg, who’ve also offloaded Emanuel Emegha to Chelsea and added Real Madrid’s untested Jacobo Ortega. It’s a risky but smart gamble for all parties—if Washington can rediscover his form, he might just score his way out of obscurity.
