DeLauter Back as Guardians Surge | Cleveland Guardians News

Chase DeLauter’s hamstring is healed and he’s back in the lineup — hitting over .400 in his last 11 games and leading all rookies in batting average. With the Guardians on a seven-game win streak, crushing their best offensive baseball of the year, especially with runners in scoring position, this return couldn’t come at a better time. Manager Stephen Vogt credits the off day and last year’s playoff experience for keeping the team calm and focused as they chase a wild-card spot. Currently 2.5 games behind the White Sox but firmly in control of the final wildcard race, the Guardians are firing on all cylinders and looking like a dangerous late-season force.
