DeLauter Back in Action | Cleveland Guardians News

Chase DeLauter’s wrist sprain sidelined him for four games, but he’s back swinging and fielding — hitting second and playing right field in Wednesday’s showdown against the Orioles. Manager Stephen Vogt kept things optimistic, saying IL wasn’t needed, and DeLauter’s early participation and improved feel confirmed his quick recovery. While he was out, Cleveland stayed hot with a 2-2 record, gaining ground on the White Sox in the Wild Card race. A key contributor this season with a .294 average, 13 homers, and 60 RBIs, DeLauter’s return is a major boost as the Guardians push toward the postseason.
