DeLauter’s Wrist Injury Update | Cleveland Guardians News

Cleveland Guardians pulled off two thrilling walk-off wins against the Tigers, but the celebration came with a twist: star rookie Chase DeLauter exited with a right wrist sprain after feeling something snap during a swing. Manager Stephen Vogt says it’s day-to-day, but DeLauter’s wrist remains sore and stiff, sidelining him for Saturday. Already dealing with hamstring tightness that cost him a series, DeLauter’s injury is a major blow — he’s been the Guardians’ top hitter this season with a .823 OPS, 28 doubles, and 13 homers. He’s not in Saturday’s lineup, but fingers crossed he’ll return Sunday. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
