Are you delaying the loving, persuasive, gracious call of God to come to Him and follow Him? No excuse will suffice. As Paul spoke to the Roman governor Felix, his message started to hit home. Felix was being convinced of its truth and trembled. Twice we read he used an excuse to "defer" a response, telling God's messenger Paul, to go away until a more convenient time. Might you be deferring God's call?
