Shortly thereafter humanity lost that authority with the fall of Adam and Eve. Now Satan being the deceiver and liar that he is manipulated the fall of Adam and Eve to position himself as a authoritarian over earth. The next move was Jesus taking back all authority in heaven and earth which he declared in Matthew 28:18.
